On 5 June 2020, Ki:no Wakayama, a new community mall connected to Nankai Wakayamashi station, was grand opened!
This is a new tourist spot in Wakayama, where you can find commercial zone to enjoy Wakayama's special gourmet and shopping. There is also a library adjacent to café, together with a 4-star hotel connected to the train station.

A ten minutes walk from Wakayama city station, you will arrive to Wakayama castle. There are many ways to enjoy this castle – enjoy the great scenery from the top of the castle, feel calm at the Japanese garden, meet Ninjas, enjoy Japanese tea, and going to the castle zoo.

Here, in Wakayama castle, there are many spots that “TONO”s have used in the past. Having Japanese tea and sweets while enjoying the view of the castle is a rare experience you can enjoy. The zoo located inside Wakayamajyo castle has a long history, started from 1915. Over 100 years has passed after this zoo was made, but still many animals wait for us here.
Take another step to Kada
Kada is a great place for sightseeing, where you can enjoy the beautiful sea, fresh seafood, relaxing hot springs and the quiet town.
Do you know that “Medetai Densha”, trains designed with the motif of sea beams, run through Nankai Kada “Sakana (Fish)” Line? Another member of the cute pink, red and blue Medetai family is coming to Kada.
